Bangladeshi Photographers is excited to announce “BP Photo Marathon”, a never ending photography competition, which will recycle every fortnight (15 days). So, you have the opportunity to win twice a month!

Members can post their photographs here throughout the seven days of a fortnight, and the following seven days are for voting. After that,two winners will be announced based on the number of votes received.

Rules for Posting:

• Post photos only up to announced date and according to the theme.
• Give a caption and a serial number to the photo.
• All the members of Bangladeshi Photographers Flickr group (yes, including the admins and moderators) can post photos.
• Each photo should be posted in “Medium” size.
• One member can post one photo only for a particular fortnight.
• Image posting, voting and winner announcement will be done in this same thread. After that, competition will continue in this thread for the next fortnight (15 days).
• Digitally manipulated images are ALLOWED.

Rules for Voting:

• Each competitor must vote for their favorite photo. Each member can cast only one vote (Not 10 votes like Closeup 1!).
• To be eligible as a winner, a member must give vote. don’t vote your own image.
• Members who have not taken part in the competition for a particular fortnight can also cast their vote.

Two awards per fortnight:

Pre-paid cards of 50/= taka each. (!!!!WOW!!!!)

Points to note:

• If overseas members win, then we’ll give the prepaid card to someone who is in Bangladesh, on behalf of them. We understand that overseas members won’t get the direct benefit, but someone assigned by them in Bangladesh will certainly enjoy it as a gift!
• Do not post your comments or questions in this contest thread. Post them in relevant Photo Marathon Support thread.
• Only admins and moderators can announce the start/ending date and Theme of a particular fortnight.
